Bull Races Cap off Magazine Drive

The annual “bull races” were held Nov. 9 in the gym. Sixth grade classes were invited to observe. Mrs. Larsen’s class won the $25 classroom funding prize for the “best dressed” bull. PTO Book Fair This Week

The Middle School is hosting the A+ Book Fair Wednesday, Nov. 14-16 in the eighth grade team room.  Outstanding chapter books, series books, and other age-appropriate reading material for middle school age students will be available for purchase. Eight Students Enjoy Limo Ride

As a result of their excellent salemsanship, eight FHMS were rewarded with a limo ride and pizza lunch on Nov. 5. The students received the prize by selling 20 or more magazine subscriptions during our annual magazine drive fundraiser in September. Dia De Los Muertos Sugar Skulls

Students in Mrs. Dachel and Ms. Perkins’ classes once again collaborated in Spanish and art to create sugar skulls in honor of the Mexican tradition of Dia De Los Muertos, or, Day of the Dead. The Nov. 1 celebration honors deceased loved ones.

Lost & Found

We have two tables FULL of jackets, t-shirts, sweaters, lunch bags, etc., etc. in our front lobby. We typically display lost and found items for a week or so at the end of each quarter. Parents are welcome to come in and scan the collection. Remaining items will be donated to Goodwill.
