FHMS students took the top two spots in the 2007 National Geographic Geography Bee on Dec. 11. On Dec. 6, Mrs. Manes eighth grade science students used compressed-air-powered rockets to test some of the physics theory learned in the classroom. The rockets, constructed out of two-liter plastic bottles and student imagination, were filled with water and then pumped with 40 psi of air.
