Ambassadors Bring Positive Message

The Harlem Ambassadors testified to a “stay in school, stay off drugs” lifestyle during a 60-minute presentation to FHMS students on Feb. 26. The Ambassadors visited FHMS compliments of Four Peaks Rotary.
The Ambassadors travel all around the world sharing their individual stories of triumph over adversity. Each Ambassador spoke to the FHMS student body assempbled in the gym during the assembly.
FHMS seventh grader Cody Dunham was honored to receive a personalized jersey and tickets to the game for coming up with the FH team name: Desert Dunkers.
Jesse, the “tour manager” explained that in order to be a member of the troupe, each Ambassador must already have a college degree, or be in the process of earning a degree, AND each member must be drug free. Jesse told students not to let anyone deter them from their dreams.
Each Ambassador spoke to students for a few minutes to deliver messages such as:
Love your parents! Stay in school! Surround yourself with positive peers! Follow your dreams! If you believe it, you can achieve it! Get addicted to something positive! Stick with your dream even though you may face failure!
The Ambassadors faced (and defeated) a team of Fountain Hills dignitaries at a game in the FHHS gym on the evening of Feb. 26. FHMS is proud to have been a part of the Harlem Ambassadors’ visit to FH!
