Each class will be featured during the concert: Choir, Beginning Band, Symphonic Band, and Falcon Band. Mrs. Bullard and the students have been working hard to prepare an entertaining show, so come on out and support our FHMS music programs! It’s fun, it’s free, and it’s the only show of it’s kind in town!

Today, she and her students were allowed to write chalk messages in the courtyard to support the class activity.

Positive choices and the message to be drug and alcohol free are always relevant in school! We know that kids will face tough choices as the progress through their middle and high school years. Hopefully, when confronted with a difficult choice, they will remember the messages they studied and created in health class!

Mrs. Larsen has been guiding students through the creation of medieval castles for many years. There is a highly specific rubric Mrs. Larsen provides to students in order to complete the projects.

Students build castles based on actual structures from Great Brittain and Europe. Mrs. Larsen noted that this year’s castles were especially “true to life.”

Once completed, students then make presentations to their classmates, sharing many of the cool facts they learned about their castles.
